Drama Classes

AYA classes are held on Sundays from February to October (excluding school holidays).

We offer a total of five classes - Intermediates, Young Teens, Teens, Seniors, and Young Adults. A student’s age and maturity determines the class they attend.

Class numbers are limited to ensure individual attention and to enable tutors to observe each student’s work progress and artistic development.

Specialty classes are held each year either during school holidays or in November. These include:

Onscreen acting - commercial and film/TV
Stage combat - tumbling, fight choreography, basic sword technique
Musical theatre - ‘Glee’ styles
Comedy - Stand up and Clowning
Audition technique - for Stage and Screen

SUNDAY DRAMA CLASSES HELD AT TAPAC
100 Motions Rd, Western Springs, Auckland.

INTERMEDIATE DRAMA CLASSES: 

For age 10 - 12 years, or school year 6 and 7
Sundays 10 am - 11.30 am. FEE: $480 per year.

DRAMA CLASSES YOUNG TEENS: 

For age 12 - 13 years, or school year 8 and 9
Sundays 11.30 am - 1.00 pm. FEE: $480 per year.

DRAMA CLASSES FOR TEENS: 

For age 14 - 16 years, or school year 10 and 11
Sundays 1.00 pm - 2.30 pm. FEE: $500 per year.

SENIOR DRAMA CLASSES: 

For age 16 - 17 years, or school year 12 and 13
Sundays 2.30 pm - 4.00 pm. FEE: $500 per year.

YOUNG ADULTS DRAMA CLASSES: 

For age 18 - 20 years.
Sundays 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm. FEE: $590 per year.

NOTE: All age groups and classes are subject to change. They are grouped evenly by the number of students attending each year.
